The Well Women's clinic offers PAP tests and Breast Checks as well
as follow up and assistance for women to access screening for breast

check ups, enabling staff to educate the woman about the importance
of having regular checks.
GENERAL PRACTITIONER
We have a female doctor who works in the clinic on the first Tuesday
evening of each month. On a number of occasions women in our community
have commented on the difficulty they have trying to see a doctor
during working hours. DAHS commenced these clinics to allow ladies
better access to our services monthly clinics. Having a doctor and
health worker working together in the Women and Children's area
has also provided
- quicker access for Maternal and Child
Health Nurse and Health Workers
- quicker access in obtaining and communicating
results for pap smears
We also have a Gynecologist who visits the Clinic
